Please attend our meeting!

The Friends of Griffin Wood are holding their Annual General Meeting at the Leaf Centre on Four Acre Lane on Thursday 2nd September from 6-8pm.  We would really like to see some new faces down there.  This will not be your average meeting we assure you, it will be lively and fun and there will be a nice selection of snacks for you to enjoy too!

We are looking forward to discussing ideas for new projects out on site and if you would like to really join in and get your hands dirty out with the regular volunteers, you could even put yourself forward to run a project on site – have you got an interest in conservation and would like to development new skills?  Then this is your chance, don’t miss out on a great opportunity!  The group value any new ideas and contributions and even if you don’t think you’re able to commit to volunteering regularly, you may want to get involved in occasional walks / cycling on the site; bird watching or just become part of a group of friendly local people who enjoy doing things, whatever that may be we’re sure there is a place for you in our group!

Please come down to this meeting just to give us a try!
